Suzhou.China 2020 "Win the Future" Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs

On 9 December 2020, the “Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs took place in Suzhou, China. Judges considered a total of 483 entries presented from North America, Europe, the U.K., Japan, and Oceania. The winning project was the U.K.’s Porotech, with its “industrialization and mass production of new advanced nitride semiconductor materials and chip technology.”

The “Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs started in 2011. The competition aims to identify and promote cutting-edge technology projects from around the world and to establish connections between local entrepreneurs and foreign up-and-coming companies. The winners of the contest are invited to attend Suzhou’s annual Venture Week for International Elites, to visit the city of Suzhou to meet local entrepreneurs, and to spend time in the city’s technology incubators.

The contest is co-sponsored by Suzhou’s Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, EcoKMC Suzhou, Global SF, and the Suzhou International Elite Entrepreneurship Week Enterprise Alliance.
