Team in China

As part of its medical device accelerator program, EcoKMC Suzhou pairs participating companies with local mentors in China. These Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIRs) are successful entrepreneurs with experience in the medical device industry. EIRs lead teams to assist U.S. and other foreign startups in bringing their Chinese subsidiaries to their full earning potential. 

EcoKMC provides EIRs with working capital to nurture emerging MedTech companies with high-growth potential. This includes market expansion, new product development, and operations and management scalability. 

EIRs can also resolve local challenges, issues, and language barriers, helping to ensure the smooth development of participating companies.

In recruiting EIRs, EcoKMC utilizes an extensive network that includes the EMBA Health & Medical Association at Shanghai Jiaotong University and the alumni association of the Mie University Graduate School of Engineering and the University of California, Irvine.
