Calling All Entrepreneurs: 2025 "Win the Future" Pitch Competition

EcoKMC has two accelerators in China which are focused on helping innovative startups enter China market. And we are organizing a pitch competition in great Los Angeles area/Orange County, California, on June 10, 2025. And we are inviting innovative startups to participate.

I. Highlights and Features

Founded in California in 2015, EcoKMC has also invested and established 2 Chinese subsidiaries with focus on innovation investment and China market entry: EcoKMC SIP Accelerator in Singapore Industrial Park of Suzhou and EcoKMC Qingdao VC and Accelerator in Qingdao, China. 

By participating in our accelerator and receiving potential investment funds from us in China, global innovative companies’ China companies can act as offshore engineering and marketing divisions of its U.S. parent companies, without any effect on the ownership of the U.S. entities. This also allows the startups to offshore work to their China subsidiaries, helping companies achieve profitability on an accelerated timeline.

Winners of our SoCal pitch competition will receive invitation to join our grand global final competition on July 7-10 in Suzhou, China, where partial international fare will be paid in addition to paid 4-start hotel lodging during the trip.

III. Participation requirements

(1) Teams and Individuals

Qualified startups are the ones who have not landed in Suzhou, China, applicants must not have registered or established an enterprise in Suzhou area. Projects should demonstrate strong innovation, promising market potential, and economic benefits, with priority given to those intending to land in Suzhou within one year following the competition.

(2) Industry Focus of Participants

Preferred Projects should have focus on sectors such as new energy, next-generation information technology, biomedicine and medical device, high-end equipment, emerging digital industries, new energy vehicles, software and information services, new materials, high-end textiles, etc. industries.

IV. Awards and Incentives

(1) Competition Awards

· First Prize: 2 awards(winners), 30,000 RMB (about USD$4,100) per each winner

· Second Prize: 4 awards(winners), 10,000 RMB (about USD $1,370) per each winner

(2) Global Finals Awards

The finals are divided into two categories:

· Startup Group: Projects without established companies in Mainland China.

· Growth Group: Projects registered in China but outside of Suzhou with an interest in settling and developing in Suzhou.

Prizes per category:

· 1 First Prize: 120,000 RMB (about USD$16,400)

· 2 Second Prizes: 50,000 (USD$6,800) RMB each

· 3 Third Prizes: 20,000 (UDD$2,700) RMB each

· 4 Excellence Awards: 10,000 RMB (USD$1,370) each
