2022 Qingdao West Coast New Area Key Industry Talent Demand Catalog

   In order to accelerate the gathering of excellent talents at home and abroad, support the development of key industries, and achieve a win-win situation of "gathering talents with industries and leading industries with talents", after extensive collection in the early stage, the Organization Department of the Qingdao West Coast New Area Work Committee, the District Recruitment Center, and the Qingdao West Coast Talent Ecological Industry Group jointly released the "2022 Qingdao West Coast New Area Key Industry Talent Demand Catalog" (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalog").

   The Catalogue includes over 300 employers, over 2000 key positions, and over 11000 talent needs. From the perspective of industry majors, the positions cover 13 industries such as manufacturing, education, and finance, involving 137 majors such as mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, ocean engineering, and technology. From the perspective of educational level, master's and doctoral talents, undergraduate talents, and talents at or below the junior college level respectively account for 23.9%, 47.5%, and 28.6% of the total talent demand. From the perspective of the nature of employers, 18 state-owned enterprises and listed companies account for 6% of the total, more than 270 key private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, etc. account for 84% of the total, and 30 public institutions account for 10% of the total.

    The "Introduction to the New Area" column of the "Catalogue" vividly showcases the economic development, benchmark industries, four business cards, and talent attraction environment of the West Coast New Area in front of talents through a promotional video titled "ONE DAY IN West Coast". The text version of the New Area Introduction provides an overview of the basic situation and overall development ideas of the West Coast New Area. It also provides a detailed interpretation of the city brand of the West Coast New Area from four aspects: creating a high-quality development leading area, creating a new highland for reform and opening up, creating a new benchmark for urban construction, and creating a new model of livable and happy life. This further enhances the visibility and recognition of the West Coast New Area in the eyes of talents.

   The Catalogue has set up a column on "Talent Policies", which sorts out 54 talent policies in the West Coast New Area and Qingdao City, and integrates them into six categories of policies: talent policy subsidies, platform subsidies, innovation and entrepreneurship project support, talent introduction and training, industry and other categories. Each policy extracts core content such as subsidy standards, subsidy conditions, processing procedures, and contact information, which are presented in the most concise way for maximum convenience in query and use.
